2017-7-14 Tour Visit for Ethnic Minorities - Be a Chef

We arranged a tour visit mainly for ethnic minorities on 14 July, 2017. For the first session of tour, participants visited The Excelsior at Causeway Bay. Participants attended a western cuisine cooking workshop at Choi Hung Training Centre during the second session.

Mr. Brian Mok, the Learning and Development Manager of The Excelsior, gave a brief description of the company background, the related information of job details such as the entry requirements, job duties, career path and benefits provided as a recruitment talk before the visit. Afterwards, The Excelsior arranged a tour for the participants to walk around the hotel lobby, restaurants and the guest rooms.

After the hotel tour, participants attended a western cuisine cooking workshop at Choi Hung Training Centre. The trainer introduced and explained briefly the dish that they were going to make. Followed by the participants prepared the dish with their partners cooperatively. They all enjoyed cooking!.
